- Typical apartments on Curacao do not have hot water. 
   the water but because of the climate the water is usually         
   warm,and showers are 'refreshing'
- Apartments have 220V 
   Appliances with a transformer (such as your laptop) are no 
   problem. Other units such as a hairdryer will need a
   transformer.
   Your US plug will need an adapter plug
   Transformers and plugs are for sale at the reception

 

- Note that beds are European sizes. Your US linnen may not
   fit.
   The Ritz has linnen sets for sale. Please order when making
   your booking
Do not forget:
- Reminders from home (pictures etc)
- (Board) games to play with other students
- Warm clothes (sweater) as the aircon may be cold in school
- Formal clothes (one set will do) for School functions
- Unique or special brands of toileteries or pharmaceuticals

 

- There are two wireless internet networks on the Campus
   In the school you will have a free (restricted) WiFi network
- The Ritz provides a broadband (unrestricted) high speed
   network  that covers both school and studios at US$ 140.per      
  semester. Please order when you make your booking 

 

- The Ritz has made arrangements with supermarket
   Vreugdenhill. A shutte bus will come to Campus 2x's a week
   to pick up students. You shop for an hour and the bus brings
   you back.
